Aurel needs little introduction. He’s been in the blockchain industry since Ethereum’s early days and is currently the CEO of Dokia Capital, one of the most prolific validators in the POS space. His experience and expertize help guide distrikt in the right direction. Aurel often acts as a north pole to which we attune our compass, especially in regard to the vision and values that distrikt should stay true to.

Vidor has been working in the blockchain space for more than 5 years but he’s been coding since the age of 13. He’s focused on building blockchains and DApps and his engineering solution are a statement of his resourcefulness and ingenuity. Vidor has been working closely with both Aurel and Andra on different projects in this space for several years prior to the founding of distrikt.

Andra is an entrepreneur that’s been working with startups for 8 years. She has fallen down the blockchain rabbit hole in 2017 and became part of the Dokia Capital team 2 years ago. Andra has helped build the distrikt team and handles a variety of tasks from operational, product to communication and community, but her main focus is to incessantly advocate for the user.

Robert has been in the IT industry for over 35 years, has worked for small start-ups and large multinational organisations alike. He has worked in roles ranging from software development and support, to marketing and sales, and on to coaching and helping teams achieve their goals and build great products. As distrikt’s Head of Product, his mission is to leverage his expertise and experience to guide and support the distrikt team in delivering the best product and to steer its future course as it grows into a leading decentralised social media network.

Casandra brings a customer oriented perspective and a creative problem-solving approach to designing products and experiences people love to use. She’s incessantly curios, persistent and focused on growth both professionally and personally.
With a background in architecture, and experience as a multidisciplinary designer and team coordinator, she’s well adapted to handle all aspects of distrikt’s design process.

Andrej is an experienced blockchain engineer and our designated problem-solving go-to person. He’s worked in a range of projects from large blockchain networks and cryptocurrencies to EU blockchain projects. With years of experience building applied blockchain systems, Andrej is well suited to make sure distrikt’s engines run smoothly and efficiently.

Zlatko is a full stack developer by day and hacker by night. He is passionate about blockchain, bleeding-edge technologies, and solving complex problems that contribute to the tech community.

Natalija needs a minimum of 1 cup of coffee in order to turn into a full functioning frontend developer, but when she does there’s no stopping her. She loves working on innovating products that have the user up front and center and Natalija has embraced distrikt’s uniqueness with open arms.

Nikola is a tech entrepreneur focused on mobile application development. His passion for Flutter, robotics and security is what makes distrikt’s mobile apps so well grounded. Nikola is well positioned to see the bigger picture and usually addresses issues before they become problems.

Nenad’s experience with developing engaging mobile applications and his passion for design has provided constant improvements to the distrikt mobile experience. He has a keen eye for detail and a perfectionist strain that aims for harmony and balance in his work.

Stefan has a background in visual arts and a genuine passion for art. He’s previously worked in a variety of creative positions in industries raging from tech startups, fine arts, extreme sports, environmental and entertainment. He’s detail oriented and his outlet is delivering creative visual elements for distrikt’s apps and marketing needs.

Alina has a background in human resources, sales, and experience as a team coordinator. She helps create and execute processes and procedures and manages budgets and forecasts. Alina makes our work easier by taking care of our administrative needs while also maintaining the relationship with distrikt suppliers and collaborators.

Dana is our moderator. She makes sure to keep a safe community, checking profiles and enforcing terms and conditions.
Dana has a background in classical music and teaching singing.

Georgios has an extensive experience in web development on large-scale applications in various industries. He continuously strives for figuring out and developing the ideal solutions to keep the distrikt app to the highest standards.

Ivana has rich experience working for startups and enterprise companies, in dynamic and fast paced environments. She has background in software engineering, but hunting for bugs and finding out new ways to test products is what she enjoys. Known for her extensive test plans and bug lists, she makes sure quality checks are being integrated throughout distrikt's development processes.

Krzysztof has a wealth of experience in designing, developing, and managing complex sites and web applications. As a professional he seeks to consistently improve his own skills and learn new technologies and is an evangelist for the adoption of technical upgrades and advances, dedicated to utilizing the latest technologies to their fullest potential.

With a background in high performance computing, big data and Ai. Meidhy has been in the blockchain field for several years, working on a layer 1 project. Having many hats, he is now bringing his Rust wizardry to distrikt and aims at being the shoulders upon which the team can thrive.
